I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Alert Innovation (Boston, MA) in Jan 2023
Interview
The interviewer reached out to me to set up an initial call. Few hours before the interview, the interviewer rescheduled to another day without any further explanation. Ended up ghosting on the rescheduled day. Probably not a good company to work for if this is how they treat their potential employees

Other Senior Software Engineer interview reviews for Alert Innovation
I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Alert Innovation (Andover, MA) in Nov 2022
Interview
Very nice interview. Started with very basic concepts of C++ like main function and its arguments. Covered OOPS concepts, static and dynamic casting. Interviewer allowed to look into documentation when in doubt.
First part was an interview with a manager who asked me a few technical questions, 90% of them completely unrelated to what I do. It seemed that he just followed a script made by someone else, since some correct answers I gave was not friendly accepted. He interrupted me multiple times while I was explaining why I would do certain things.
To my surprise, they wanted to proceed to the second round. This time it was with two engineers, who presented a technical challenge, another conceptual one, and another about general micro services communication. One of them was kinda friendly, while the other was kinda distant, cold.
