The interview was the moment you walked into the door. The owner was sizing you up and determining whether you were the person he talked to on the telephone or a proxy. (If it was the latter that was determined, all bets were off.) I filled out an application and after that talked with the owner a little. Got into some good conversation about myself and the job. The next day I get a message on my phone asking if I was interested!
