Interview Process at Alice Blue – Disappointing Experience
I recently interviewed with Alice Blue for a QA Manager position, and my experience was highly disappointing. The process involved:
• Level 1: A virtual interview lasting 1 hour.
• Level 2: Another round lasting approximately 50 minutes(virtual).
During these two stages, the interview panel failed to realize that, in their opinion, my previous experience didn’t align with the job role. Despite this, they proceeded with the process, including discussions about the annual package and starting date with the HR team. Also, HR took all the documents from me as well. However, at Level 3, at the CTO Interview, my application was rejected for the reason that my previous experience was not suitable for the role—a fact they could have easily identified in the earlier rounds. Mr. Nagarjun R was very unprofessional and he only had a few questions to ask. Which was not technical and he failed poorly in Analysing a candidate's skill by not giving scenarios to prove his skills. He scans what's on in my CV and he concludes.
This last-minute rejection felt unprofessional and reflected poorly on their ability to assess candidates effectively. Such careless handling wastes the time and effort of job seekers. HR won't take your call after you get rejected. It’s disheartening to see companies treat applicants with such disregard. I hope Alice Blue improves their interview processes and respects the efforts of candidates moving forward.
