I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at AllianceBernstein
Interview
I talked with the manager for the position. There wasn't a lot mentioned about the position at first; he just jumped into technical questions. Most questions were technical, but were mostly vague. There were no very specific problems asked to be solved. Most questions were asking how I'd solve a larger problem such as what techniques I'd use. The questions were quite poorly worded, and I felt he was likely looking for one specific answer when the best answer tended to start with "it depends."
At the end, I asked questions related to the position. I asked what he thought about the work-life balance and he started with, "well, I'm not going to lie, it can be pretty bad." I asked other questions about the position, and he didn't make it sound appealing at all.
I went through a LinkedIn recruiter to get the interview. After the interview, I never heard from the company nor the LinkedIn recruiter again.
