The process is very impersonal and frankly unorganized. I never heard from an actual Ally recruiter throughout the process. Every message was automated under the guise of "The Ally Recruiting Team".
It started with a one-way/on-demand video interview. There are 5 questions and you have unlimited attempts to record an answer under a time limit (2-3 min.). You can use on screen notes to help you with your recorded responses. Basic questions asking about different ID experiences (the value of keeping up with learning technology trends, managing stakeholders, working under ambiguity, etc.).
2 weeks after completing, I received an automated message letting me know that my interview was going to be shared with the hiring manager. Unfortunately, I did not receive another contact from Ally until 2 months later, letting me know that I would not be moving on.
Just a long waste of time. This was far and away the worst interview process I've experienced.
