3 years ago went through an interview process here that I spent over 20+ hours in interviews with various team members for different position. Was completely ghosted from recruiter and hiring manager not returning e-mails and calls.
This year was contacted by recruiter for this job. Explained what I went through last time, and how much time I put into this to never even given the courtesy of a rejection e-mail or call. The recruiter said those people are all gone and promised me a better experience.
Spent 30+ minutes talking with recruiter, 1.5 hrs with hiring manager, and another hour with a second person.
Once again, I was ghosted and all contact I made inquiring on this position went with no response.
Also the recruiter scheduled the 3rd interview without my confirmation, and when I responded immediately that I was not available them it was ignored. The third person called 2 times and left a voice mail. The recruiter claimed they got busy and forgot to reschedule.
The technical interview with the hiring manager was kind of ridiculous. Unless you can tell him the dictionary versions of his questions, he didn't seem satisfied and would tell you the answer he wanted. I felt that this interview did not go well, but still was asked for a second technical interview. The second technical interview went as expected for the 25 years of experience that I have.
