      I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at AltoVita in Oct 2024

      Interview

      Got an interview without screening round. Call with Product person was fine and good questions. After this call with Director of Tech, until this point things were fine. First conversation went deep into Product skillset and next was not top deep but more about ways of working. After seeing so many negative reviews on Glassdoor, I could not connect dots durimg my first hand experience during the interviews. Anyway I didn’t have a paid job, so it was important to me to get this and I like Travel industry. The third conversation was with Marketing member , it was rescheduled 3 times!!! If you have another job in hand or employed, I assume you would wihdraw, right? But I did not have a job, so I stick to the process. Through out the process , i was not made aware how many rounds I need to expect. Now, I got medium to high effort take home case study , atleast I was made cautious that you can opt out of the process if you don’t want to. But I didn’t have a job, so I stick to it. After 4 days of preparation, I submitted case study and feel relaxed ro move to final round presentation to 5-6 folks including CEO. This role requires direct conversation with CEO, so I was not surprised. After 1 hour conversation, I had opportunity to have 1-1 with CEO for 5 min. She asked HR level questions to test the cultural fit, totally discounting the engagement I had during whole interview process. After one week, I was given a reject with no feedback. Because I didn’t have a job, I carried on with whole ordeal of more than 5 weeks. What would you have done if were in my situation? Anyway, it was good learning experience only to ponder to make fun of yourself or of the company.
