I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon Web Services (Seattle, WA) in Apr 2026
Interview
The interview process was extensive, with 8–9 rounds, the last four lasting an hour each. They asked for feedback on how they could improve but provided none to the candidate for investing that kind of time with them. two one-hour rounds with the same supervisor covered similar questions repeatedly, making it unclear where to add examples for declining the manager's suggestion. The process felt tedious, especially for the low salary range of $115k. There were shadow employees present, seemingly in training on how to conduct interviews, which made it feel like being used as a test subject. After each interview, they sent feedback emails on how to improve the process. In the final interview, I was told “good luck for your future endeavors,” which felt like the decision had already been made before the briefing, despite them saying all come together after all the rounds are conducted to reach decision. As expected, I was not selected.
