The interview process is well known. The initial screen, then an interview and the loop. This review specifically pertains to the loop. During the loop the interviewer mentioned they just had a hiring freeze and I asked if this position was impacted. They said yes so obviously., I was surprised and asked why I was still being interviewed and the response was so that the candidate experience wasn’t poor. Well guess what, it was horrible. The loop is an intense process and requires extensive prep as well as a written narrative, which no one spoke about during the interview. The worst experience given they wasted my time when they knew there was no open position any more.

Attended 3 rounds (1 technical, 2 on site with manager) of interviews with the last being on site. Need to know leadership principles by hard. Interviews can be long, so you need maximum concentration
