Recruiter reached out to me through linkdin.FIrst the casual phone discussion ,after that, written exam with one of the online test provider. 2 coding questions and 3 core java+ 3 data base questions. to write query to join the tables .

Applied through LinkedIn, a recruiter contacted me shortly. She asked me background information and read 4 questions for the initial screening. All Java & SQL questions. After I answered them right. I then scheduled to take an online exam.
The one-line exam looks from some Indian company and I got someone watching me the entire during of the exam. The exam is all java and sql questions. Java side questions are normal, the SQL one might need some extra thought.
A few days after the online exam, I got an email saying some team members reviewed my exam and I do not meet their requirements.

They ask a lot of SQL questions, way more than any other jobs I have ever interviewed. Maybe they are looking for a Java developer + DBA combination?
