      Boca Raton, FL
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at American Traveler (Boca Raton, FL) in Dec 2025

      Interview

I completed an initial phone screening with a director, followed by a final interview with a vice president. Afterward, I was asked to complete a background screening and provide my social security number and professional references. Communication stopped without feedback, and I later received a no-reply “not selected” email.

      Interview

Initial interview with great she left a great impression of the company, second interview was not good the tone used was that of being annoyed from the moment she got on the phone, the interview was average after close to an hour discussing my Sales experience and why I thought I would be a good fit, she ends the interview telling me to write and email "no longer than the size of my foot" on why I wanted this job even though I had just expressed for an hour how I qualify, was she even listening?? She made it sound like I had to beg and she clarified this wasn't a cover letter.

      Boca Raton, FL
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at American Traveler (Boca Raton, FL)

      Interview

Went into the office ( great looking company btw). Signed in and was greeted by one of the office ladies. I was taken into an office where I had to do basic office math problems (no time limits and there's pencil and paper). Afterwards, I met up with Tory and Matt. Both asked me questions regarding my education and less about my real work experience... I understand education is important but my sales experience, in my opinion, should be the main focal point. They constantly asked me how my marketing experience ties in with sales ( they asked me the same question in four different variations). Two days later I got declined the job offer "due to lack of qualification".

      Question 1

Where do you see yourself in five years? How many calls do you expect to make in a day? How do marketing and sales go hand to hand?
