The interview process was a fairly normal process. 3-5 rounds, take home assignment, and in person interview at the end. Take home assignment was kind of bizarre and confusing with little to no context.
The interview process for Americaneagle.com was disorganized, messy, and lacked process. I started by interviewing the hiring manager which was straight forward. The second meeting was with the Directors I would be reporting to on a daily basis and the HR rep. After this meeting I was requested to submit a project status report and that went great. The last meeting seemed to be a throw away meeting with no purpose. The meeting was lead by the HR rep with the Director joining. They ask you to discuss your professional career all the way back to High School to present which was odd. After explaining my professional career, I waited for a week to learn I will not be hired in lieu of a local candidate. They did not seem concerned with taking the time to discuss every thing critical to the job and spending 4 rounds only to be overlooked for a local resource. This company is not transparent and I am grateful to have been passed over.
