I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Amica Insurance in Oct 2012
Interview
They came and did the prezi presentation at my school in a class. Then spoke with them at a career fair. They set up an on campus interview for the next day. I pretty much read the associate adjuster job description sheet back to the woman in the interview. Have customer stories ready about how you solved a customer problem, adversarial encounters etc. Talk about being empathetic and just relax. Be very open to relocating as this is a requirement. The first interview is easy because they are screening you in. She told me in person after the interview that she would be contacting me with next steps and that I made it to a second round. Got flown to Rhode Island and did the all day interview. These interviews are more difficult and the people touring you around are obviously part of the interview. I pretty much gave the same answers. Make sure you call your contacts they give you and speak with them as this will come up in the interviews. I thought it went well even though I gave a couple bad answers. They called me back the very last day they said they would call to tell me I didn't get it. Just have a bunch of stories ready about working with team in and out of school, customer stuff, hardest decisions etc.

Question 1
What is the most difficult decision you have had to make and how did you make it
Very welcoming and behavioral based. Everyone I spoke to was great and I could see why they’re known for their culture. They seem to want to really grow their talent.

Question 1
Describe a time you resolved a conflict with a coworker
There was an initial interview and then a panel interview. The process was straight forward and clear. Everyone was nice and approachable. No surprises. Relocation and being open to it completely was important.

Question 1
Q. Are you willing to relocate to any of our branch offices?
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Amica Insurance (Lincoln, RI) in Oct 2018
Interview
Very unprofessional. Worked so hard and studied for my interview only to be followed by an automated email stating they went for someone else. I even wrote a thank you letter to the recruiter and she never responded. I also think race played a role, they lack diversity. I would never in my entire life work for such an unprofessional company, this company really far exceeds that level. If you are thinking about applying here please don't they don't hire anyone they just have to do their hiring quota, you will waste time, money, and gas just to interview here.
