I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Amino (San Francisco, CA) in Jun 2016
Interview
The interview consisted of a series of 1x1 conversations by phone and in person. We discussed my background and how that would align with the Amino team. The Amino team was straight forward, communicated clearly, and were fair.
I found the team members impressive in terms of track record and interpersonal skills.
The team has a clear vision, is making progress toward great things. From what I could tell, it's a good team to be part of.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Amino (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
The interview started with several detailed phone conversations with key players in the talent and product, including the CEO.
Later onsite interview involved meeting with team members -- both individually and as a group -- to understand more how the team functions internally and collaborates with other teams.
Part of the process is to also discuss with other key players outside of the DS team -- including founders, engineering and marketing leads.
The company is very very transparent with the interview process and feedbacks. I was even offered to speak with company advisors (though didn't happen because of scheduling conflict). Everyone is so engaging, responsive and honest which is unusual for a young startup.
