Applied online and was selected for interview.
Provided availability and added to diary, however interview didnât go ahead due to interviewer having technical issues with Zoom.
Rearranged for the following day and had a good conversation and interaction but unfortunately it was downhill from here on.
I was advised of the process and that theyâd be in touch but if I had any questions meantime, to send them directly.
Later that day I followed up thanking them for their time and crafted around 15 thought out questions about the role, success criteria, measurement, etc⌠and then, radio silence⌠ghosted⌠ignored and blanked.
I chased up but didnât get a response, two weeks later I asked for some professionalism and got an apology and to save my questions for hiring manager interview.
It was quite obviously a brush off, these people clearly think applicants are stupid and donât recognise the lead up to rejection.
Then after 8pm on a Friday night, I got the rejection email I was expecting.
No thought for all the effort put in, no interview, no questions answered (obviously) which leads me to think âbullet dodgedâ because if this is the way potential employees are treated, what must it be like actually working for them.
Far from impressed with the lack of respect and humanity, especially as I donât think theyâd get back to candidates unless chased and them feeling this is appropriate or adequate in some way.
