I applied online. I interviewed at Anchorage Digital
Interview
Coding round was to design an in memory database that supported multiple pending transactions that could be committed or rolled back. Interview was straightforward however, even with better qualifications than half the company and acing the coding round, received a rejection with no details. Interviewer and recruiter was all over the place.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Anchorage Digital (New York, NY) in May 2026
Interview
First round was with a recruiter. Second round was with one of their engineers.
Question was to design an in memory database
Then add transactions
Then add a delete function that operated on transactions or not
When I asked questions on the requirements he would change them later.
Then he struggled to get his AI generated tests to work. The tests also looked for things that were outside of the requirements
Reached out to the recruiter for feedback, he refused to share it.

The interview process felt disorganized from the start. The initial LinkedIn outreach seemed automated, and the sourcer did not appear to have much context about the role or the actual interview process. I did well on the live coding screen and advanced to the onsite stage.
The onsite took a long time to schedule, apparently because they had a large number of candidates. The technical interviews themselves were mostly reasonable and included system design, technical design, and behavioral questions. However, the process ended before the full loop was completed, which made the final decision feel unclear. The recruiter offered to chat about feedback afterward, but then did not follow up. Overall, the technical content was fine, but the recruiting experience was poor.
