The interview was at their Garland, TX location. I arrived about 10 minutes early and met one of the interviewers in the lobby before meeting with the Hiring Manager. Both of them were receptive of me and things seemed to be going well as they proceeded to ask behavioral questions as I assumed they were. Luckily I had prepared the night before and questions such as, "Tell me about yourself," and "What do you want to do," were all apart of the equation. I answered them to the best of my abilities (probably could have worded them a bit more elegantly) but to no avail. Needless to say I did not get the internship opportunity. This could be due to the fact that I have almost zero engineering experience aside from course work at my university (graduate in August 2014 B.S.). However, I am Dean's list electrical engineering, part of many organizations with lots of leadership experience and have work experience related to sales, service, construction, and website management. Do your homework (explore LinkedIn if you know who is interviewing you). They asked me what I knew about the company and I knew a lot, but that's not enough to get a hire. Interview was short (probably not a good thing). Hope this was helpful.
