      Marketing Trainee Program Interview

      14 Nov 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

      I applied online. I interviewed at Anheuser-Busch

      Interview

Applied. Once my resume got accepted, I took 2 online assessment tests. I don't remember much about the tests. I do recall that they were testing my response to different situations. I was also asked short answer questions about things such as what I am most proud, what I liked about previous experience, and what leader I admire most. Tests were fairly long in comparison to other assessments I have taken with other companies, partly because each question wants you to aim at a 5-6 sentence response. It's harder than it seems. I passed both tests and received an email inviting me to sign up for a live video interview. The link AB provided lead me to a page that stated no interview slots were available at the time and recommended that I contact my recruiter. I did, and she said the team needed to add more interview times in. Fine, except they never did. After 6 weeks of me pestering my recruiter and getting no response, I received an email that I was not selected for the position. AB does a poor job at conducting interviews. As an applicant, I expect a company to be actively interested in learning about how I can contribute to their business. I spoke with my university's career center and found out that AB has a reputation of "ghosting" (ignoring) applicants. I also read another Glassdoor review where someone experienced the same treatment. AB needs to work on investing in their recruitment process to let people know they are serious and offer a beneficial employment opportunities.
