The interview process was fairly informal for me as I knew the hiring manager from having previously worked together.
Given that I had great success in similar roles in the past, I was asked to apply and take the Predictive Index Test, which was presented as somewhat of a formality.
Unfortunately, I received a call from the hiring manager stating that HR would not allow him to proceed with me due to the results of the PI test.
My advice to the company would be to couple the test with evidence of past performance in similar roles as well as a traditional interview to form a more complete picture of the candidate instead of relying solely on what many experts consider to be a flawed test.
