Had an interview for a position that I was really excited about, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a disappointing and frustrating experience. From the very beginning, things didn't go as I had hoped. I had prepared extensively, researching the company, practicing my responses to common questions, and even rehearsing my strengths and weaknesses. I was confident and ready to show my potential.
However, when I arrived, the atmosphere was nothing like I expected. The interviewer seemed distracted, barely making eye contact, and there was a sense of impatience in the air. It felt as though they were going through the motions rather than genuinely engaging with me. I tried to remain composed and pushed forward, but the lack of enthusiasm was disheartening.
To make matters worse, the questions seemed disorganized and repetitive, almost as if they were following a generic script without tailoring it to my experience or the role. I found myself struggling to provide answers that felt relevant, as the interviewer wasn’t giving me much to work with. I tried to steer the conversation back to my qualifications and how I could contribute, but it felt like I wasn’t being heard.
