I was contacted by a recruiter and fast-tracked into speaking with the hiring manager. After the phone interview, I was invited on-site within the week. I had about 5 hours of on-site interviews, including a portfolio presentation and one-on-one sessions with other product designers, engineers, and product managers. The process went smoothly, and I was informed within several days that I would be receiving an offer. The period given to me to make a decision was short (one weekend and a day), but that's pretty common from what I've seen with other tech companies. Communication in general with the recruiter and others within the companies was strong, and I ended up accepting the offer after some negotiation. I've been impressed with the smoothness of the onboarding process, from HR to IT and new employee orientation.
