Interview
1st stage interview with HR to get a feel for the company. This was great and interviewer was friendly and possitive
2nd stage interview was with HR and VP of Professional Services, I would like to think the interview went well.
3rd stage interview, Well it didnt happen.
Timeline
Friday 17th
- hank you for your patience in this process, we would like to arrange a technical interview on Wednesday or Thursday next week, do either of these days work for you?
- Just by way of update, we intend to have made a final decision on this role by Friday, so you will know the outcome by the end of next week.
Monday 20th

Tuesday 21st
I know we have a technical interview scheduled for Thursday, however we have had a candidate who has previously worked with us in the process and have made the decision to offer the role to them given their understanding of the product and our environment.
We would like to thank you for all of your time and commitment to the process and we would like to keep in contact should we be hiring in the New Year.

While I understand that finding the best person for a job is essential and a candidate that has previously worked with the company has an advantage. You dont mess people around like this. I had seen previous examples of this on glassdoor and didnt put much weight behind them. I was wrong.
Personaly, I would have preferred the interview was kept, even if it lead to nothing.
