I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Appjobs (Stockholm, Stockholm) in Jan 2023

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Appjobs (Lviv) in Aug 2022
Interview
An external recruiter has contacted me. I had a pre-screen call with them and another introductory call with the company's HR, after which I received a tech task as the next step.
I started working on the tech task, but before I finished it, I received a call from an external recruiter who contacted me about this position. The company suggested stopping the recruitment process.
A bit of extra Information. I'm Ukrainian. It's already 6th month of a full-scale war and invasion of russia over Ukraine. Of course, I mentioned at the beginning that I cannot work with russians in the same team, and I won't accept if the company pays into russia. The company's HR answered me on the call and said that she understood it and that it won't be an issue.
But the company decided to stop the recruitment process because they've recently hired russian to the team.
Consider twice if you'd like to join the company that would hire russian over Ukrainian.

Question 1
There were standard questions to get the candidate's profile for such a position. The structure of the recruitment process is that a technical interview goes only after completing the test task.
I applied online. I interviewed at Appjobs in Mar 2021
Interview
The first interview went rather well, talking mostly about common SEO matters and evaluating my knowledge. However, the second interview was way more tense for multiple reasons like a very low salary offered or an assignment that looked like an audit, and more questionable things.
As I didn't expect that it would go any further, they didn't even take the time to send a "thank you but no thank you" email, which is basic professional behaviour. Another bad company.
