I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Applaud (London, England) in Feb 2026
Interview
Very quick process. Email from HR to set up interview. Initial interview was with hiring manager, second/final stage with hiring manager and CTO.
First interview was remote and the second was requested to be face to face in London. There was a task to complete prior to the second interview.
The company and people seemed good, the business is clearly run by people who know what they're doing and who they need in role, which was proven by the outcome of the interview.
Cons: avoidance of the question regarding travel reimbursement (its not a requirement to reimburse I know, but it would have just been good if the question had been answered rather than not). There was also no constructive feedback offered in the outcome email.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Applaud (Hyderābād) in Jun 2016
Interview
I got to know about Applaud through a recruitment agency. Two rounds of interview happened. 1st round - It was a face to face group interview ( 3 persons interviewed me) where I was tested on all areas like Algo & DS, Programming languages, Databases, Networks, Latest technologies. It was a good experience and lasted for an hour.
2nd round - It was a skype interview. I was asked questions at a higher level like Architecting a Distributed system. Interviewers were very knowledgeable and helpful.
I was selected and got the offer letter next day after these 2 rounds. The entire process took only 3 days.
I applied through university. I interviewed at Applaud
