I applied via online. A recruiter replied back asking me to answer 3 questions. She was very welcoming and gave me a good first impression. After I sent in my response, we schedule a phone screening. I was pumped for the next steps and liked what I saw from what I researched. Everything seemed great until the phone screening. I tried to make the interview more conversational, but he was uninterested in doing so. Felt like a transaction where he asked questions and I answered. Some of the questions dove into the role and gave some great scenarios which I liked, but some questions were not clear and he had to clarify. I did stumble on some of the in depth questions which I should have done more of my due diligence. When I asked my questions towards the end, he had a little smirk every time he answered, which gave me the impression that he wasn't taking it seriously. It felt like the interviewer was rushing to get off the phone. I highly doubt I got to the second round, and even if I did, he was a bad representation of this company, and I would not proceed. I am also assuming that some of the positive reviews were made by employees to inflate their company in a positive manner. I mean, they are posted 3-4 at a time on the same day which is odd.
