I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Arcadia Management Group in Mar 2024
Interview
The interview process was too easy. I got hired the same day I did my interview. After receiving the offer they stayed there sending me a check for equipment (over $1,000 worth). It felt like a scam although I did receive an “employment offer letter”

Question 1
One question that the hiring manager asked was “How do you handle conflict?”

Interview
The interview process was so easy, it felt like a scam. I was reached out to through someone from BambooHR about the opportunity when I applied for it. I was then directed to download a messenger app to have a messenger interview with the hiring manager. Some of the responses from the manager made it feel like it was ChatGPT responding. After a couple days of back and forth (as my current job kept me busy) I was offered the position. I still felt uneasy, so I went to the company website and tried to send them an email directly, only to have it return to my inbox as undeliverable. I was told what equipment to specifically buy, and that a check would be mailed to me to purchase the equipment. Why wouldn't they just send the equipment they want me to use? I didn't feel comfortable giving out my personal information to them because it felt scammy, and I'm going to turn down the position.

Interview
The interview was so easy it felt like a scam. Once you get a response email (I put in for the job and received a response on Monday), you’re directed to a messaging app for a “phone” interview. I was asked some very basic interview questions then after maybe 10 minutes was “hired”. You are then instructed that since you will be working from home you will be required to purchase your own multifunctional printer and thermal printer (which was over $1000), a specific laptop, and multiple specific software applications. I was told they would give me a paycheck in advance to specifically use to purchase the equipment. As I said, it felt like a scam so I turned the job offer down.
