I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Argos (Dublin, Dublin) in Dec 2014

They called me and asked about my availability etc. Brought in for a general chat. There was a questionnaire and I was given factual scenarios with customers etc. Then had to go onto the shop floor and fill out a survey. I was called 5 days later and offered the position with an immediate start.

You had to do an online assessment with your application with some scenario questions and then questions that are personality tailored. Then offered a 1 to 1 interview supposed to last 30 minutes

Tell us about a time you've had to deal with an unhappy customer ?
Casual conversation talking about experiences, skills etc. What the role was about and responsibilities it carries. Asked my availability and flexibility. Make sure you have questions to ask the interviewer asking about key aspects of the role.
