I applied online. I interviewed at Argus Media (London, England) in Mar 2018
Interview
First comes a test comprised of four parts:
1. Write a 250 word news story from a few pages of information given.
2. 12 Math questions to be answered in 12 minutes (Practice the rule of three!)
3. Logic test, a few questions on how to assess the correct commodity price with the informaton given.
4. Explain how you would go about writing and researching a news story about a potential incident.
If you pass the test, you have the first of two interviews with two of the workers. Pretty casual, make sure you ask enough questions on how the company works etc. (I didn't ask enough questions and HR said that's why I didn't get the job even though I was strong candidate)
If you pass this interview you will asked to a second interview with management,
Started with a screening call followed by a testing and then interviews with the hiring committee. The team was friendly and transparent about the role’s expectations and growth opportunities. Overall engaging and insightful experience.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Argus Media in Jun 2025
Interview
Screening with TA, testing, VC with hiring manager then F2F in office.
Testing was on amazon workspace, around 100 minutes and completed at home, VC with HM as they were based overseas before being invited to office for final round.
