Interview
Started with an initial screening chat. I gave my current salary and expectations and was told that was in the ballpark.
Then went through a thorough interview process (including preparing a presentation) and ended up being made an offer much lower than my current salary.
I mentioned the salary difference, was promised a call back to negotiate and then never heard from them again so i'm assuming withdrew the offer?
Everyone I spoke to was professional, courteous and passionate. However, while the lowballing was frustrating, the ghosting at the end of the process does not suggest an organisation that values people. - especially given the work that went into preparing for interviews and designing a presentation.
