They were very interested and curious about me. They gave a lot of information about the process. It consisted of 3 stages. In the first stage, I met with one of the human resources team. They then directed me in the architectural department. I recently took an online English test. All stages were positive, but I could not pass the English exam.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Arup (Istanbul) in Jan 2024
Interview
The interview process at ARUP Turkey began efficiently. After applying, I was quickly contacted for an interview, which was scheduled without delay. The interview was thorough, incorporating both technical and behavioral questions, which provided a comprehensive evaluation of my capabilities.
Additionally, I participated in an online English test, which was part of the application process. While the initial stages were managed professionally, the follow-up has been disappointing. Six months after my interview and English test, I reached out twice via email to inquire about my application status. The first response indicated that the process was still ongoing, but I received no reply to my second email. This lack of consistent communication has left me with an unresolved application and a less favorable impression of the recruitment process at ARUP.

Question 1
In my interview with ARUP Turkey, the focus was on my proficiency with design software, specifically Revit and Rhino, highlighting my technical capabilities in architectural design. I was also asked about my roles and contributions in previous projects, particularly in terms of design and implementation. Furthermore, they inquired about my reasons for leaving my previous position, seeking insights into my career decisions and growth. Additionally, I completed the Pearson Test of English (PTE) as part of my application process.
