had a first screening interview of more than 1hr with HR then a second one with the hiring manager which was shorter just to be ghosted after with 0 news!Competely unprofessional behavior and a waste of the candidate's time!

discussion about my profile, experiences with oil & gas customers, knowledge of Aspentech and the Emerson/AspenTech acquisition history, the territory coverage and expectations in terms of new logo acquisition within the assigned territory.
Overall a dead-end interview for what turned out to be a hypothetical job. The actual job wasn't available, yet. They admitted they hadn't created the dept., got budgeting, or a job requisition for the role. They were merely seeing who would apply for this false job and seeing what salary range people would want. Total waste of time and excitement.

Basic interview process consisting of initial phone screen with external recruiter, phone screen with internal recruiter, phone interview with hiring manager, and an in person group interview. The group interview was lasted approximately 4 hours and questions were in line with what to expect for the role.
