I applied online. I interviewed at Asper AI (Bengaluru) in Feb 2026
Interview
Everything is went quite well overall, but the interview has been postponed and delayed, and the feedback or review process after the interview is moving very slowly at this stage.
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Asper AI in Oct 2025
Interview
I recently went through three rounds of interviews.
The first two rounds focused primarily on the fundamentals of React, JavaScript, and key concepts in HTML and CSS. Both were fairly straightforward and tested core technical understanding.
The third round involved a high-level system design discussion. The scenario presented was a dynamic dashboard containing multiple widgets arranged differently for each user. I was asked how I would design the configuration for such a system, define the JSON structure for widget management, and handle 50+ API calls efficiently — including strategies for optimizing API requests and managing data flow.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Asper AI (Bengaluru) in Apr 2025
Interview
My experience with Asper was quite disappointing and reflects a lack of professionalism and transparency in their hiring process. Despite multiple conversations and clearly communicating my compensation expectations from the very beginning — including during face-to-face meetings and follow-up emails — the team failed to disclose their actual budget until much later in the process.
I was told compensation wouldn’t be a constraint for the right candidate, only to later learn that the offer being considered was significantly below what was initially implied.
While I appreciated being considered through a referral, the overall experience with Asper left me feeling undervalued and misled. I hope they take steps to be more transparent and respectful in their future hiring processes.
