I'm usually not a fan of assessment days, but this one involved lots of great discussion about their research and mine, and it was generally a fun experience. It was split into sections with a presentation given by me about the work I'd done, a technical interview, a situational questioning section and some group exercises.

One of the best recruitment processes I've gone through. The stages aren't endless like some places, there're a few preliminaries and an assessment day and that's it. Everyone is super friendly and evidently keen on what they're doing, which makes you feel more positive about the whole experience. They also knew their stuff so it felt like you'd earned the position.
