I joined on-site interview and my last interviewer was a different department's Head, not an HR. He opened the interview by saying, while laughing, “Looking at your CV, it seems there’s not much to ask, but anyway.” I had 2.5 years of experience at a corporate holding, and this was obviously a junior role. I don’t think it’s appropriate at all to start an interview this way with someone who took the time to come to your office. My previous interviews went very well. if my background didn’t seem sufficient, you shouldn’t have invited me in the first place.
