I found the interview process to be convoluted with no clear direction on how the process would work. The hiring manager reached out and asked me to fill out a questionnaire and it came from a no-reply email address. Then, I was asked to meet with the hiring manager. There were 3 rounds of interviews. But, it actually turned into 4 or 5 rounds. The first two rounds were fairly normal and moved fast. Still, everything came from a no-reply email address which was weird to me. There wasn’t a way to get in touch with someone if something went wrong or if you had questions. My last interview is where things took a turn for the worst. I was asked to interview with sales and product. I scheduled my interview using a scheduling link. Well to my surprise upon attending my scheduled interview, the salesperson jumps on and says they are going to have to reschedule the with me due to a prior commitment. The product person was late to the call but, prefaced the interview by saying that it was pretty late in the evening and he needed to tend to the kids. So, we could only talk for a few minutes. The product person asked me questions but cut me off after every answer. It felt extremely rushed. A few days later I finally met with the salesperson and it was clear that they likely didn’t have much experience interviewing based on how they were asking questions. I’m not even sure if any of them took a look at my resume. What was the point in having me interview with people who aren’t available? I’m not sure but after that experience, I decided I no longer wanted the role. They sent me a denial about 3 weeks later saying it had been such a long interview process and to keep in touch.
