      Interview

Similar to the other reviews, I had to create a presentation that I had to showcase to about 6 other people, with this only being my second interaction with the company (the first with the hiring manager). It was bizarre, given that they knew my inexperience with ad sales, and even more mortifying that they spent the entire hour making me go in-depth on each slide, one by one, graphic by graphic, etc. It was super unnecessary, given the level of the job and the job itself - seriously, what account manager/CSM creates a whole presentation for existing clients? The CEO also popped in for literally 3 seconds then dropped off. I spent hours on this and they asked me to send over the slides afterward, which was concerning, given that they made me spend more than enough time going through each slide as granularly as possible. The whole thing was an utter waste of my time and felt like it was more of a team effort to scout for new ideas from candidates since they are a small firm. No questions about my soft skills, experience, or interest. And the fact that I had to chase down the hiring manager about their decision was insulting.
