I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Audible (Newark, NJ)
Interview
Interview process was very smooth, well organized. But... and this is what ticks me off the most about the tech industry these days. Despite numerous (and I mean numerous) assurances from the recruiter that they ask fair questions about data structures and algorithms, I ended up with the typical "here's a tricky problem figure it out and don't bother coding" question from one interviewer, followed by an absolutely incoherent question about building an object model from another. I know my coding skills are up to par, unfortunately Audible interviewers are not interested in assessing them. They are interested in the same old tricks that the Googles and Facebooks of the world are interested in, so best advice - avoid like the plague.

Question 1
Can't repeat them (NDA), but I will say this - I wouldn't have hired either of the two "coding" interviewers if they had showed up at my shop.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Audible in Apr 2025
Interview
The interview process was really smooth. The interviewers were professional, kind, and prepared to pair program. Apart from the behavioral interview, which was all star format stories, each interviewer asked one question related to an Audible value. After giving my answer, we'd hop into the technical part.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Audible (Cambridge, MA)
Interview
It takes time and the entrance exam is really hard. You will need to know most all of leetcode and even then the questions they ask are framed in a way that involves Amazon products so it can be confusing

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Audible in Jul 2022
Interview
After OA, there were 4 rounds of interview scheduled on 1 day. 3 technical and 1 behavioral. There were shadows in 2 of the interviews. 1 of the interviews was with a member of the team. Overall smooth process, very organized. Everyone was friendly and nice.
