Interview
Interview process was ok, they gave a take home test which was time consuming. Their expectations were too high. I did the coding test pretty well for what it was, and mentioned there's better ways of doing it too. They expected a 1 week solution for something which would take 5 hours. First off, we do have a full time job, can't cater to this considering its time consuming.

Question 1
Construct two API endpoints functions using Laravel which give some output.
Task 1 - Expose a new api endpoint to list all applications
Task 2 - Automate the ordering of all nbn applications.
Implement a queue worker and also schedule this one using Laravel scheduler.
Terrible application process. Their online application portal is very buggy, kept crashing and losing what I had input into the form. I had to restart sections multiple times. It also times out and drops your unsaved information periodically. Atrocious.
I received an automated acknowledgement of application submission. A month later I have heard nothing further. This is substandard given the time I lost trying to get through their application form.
Do better Aussie Broadband.

Interview
Phone interview, then received 2hr est. tech test from GitHub repo. If approved after tech test, then may proceed to face-to-face interview, VoIP or in-person at local office. The phone interview was a mix of boilerplate interview questions, and random tech questions. FYI, this interview was for a Software Engineer role, they do not recognize Senior Software Engineers until you've at least passed the onboarding probation process.
