I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Austin Aquarium (Austin, TX) in Aug 2024
Interview
Interview was absolutely horrendous. Interviewer barely made eye contact with me, asked me almost entirely yes or no questions, and interrupted me constantly. The entire process was over in 12 minutes. It was very clear he had no interest in actually paying attention to me. After the interview was over, I was given some tokens to feed the fish (many of which were sick and/or injured). Although I didn't end up receiving an offer, I will avoid ever contributing or associating with this company for the rest of my life.
I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Austin Aquarium in Jan 2013
Interview
Very quick, got right down to the point, went straight to asking me about myself. Went over all the job responsibilities and descriptions. Enjoyably experience, just with one manger had a good time.
I was hired on the spot, I walked in and was walked around the aquarium as a tour, then asked to stay til 7 that day. I got lucky, you must submit your application to their website and then do the interview. They just talk to you about what your expecting, and how you think you will fit in.
