I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Avalara
Interview
The process is long and they make it clear at the very beginning. So be patient. There were 5-6 rounds. Some in-office and some on call. There is also a coding round where they will actually see how good production grade code you can churn out.
The questions are good and intelligent. No text book questions. They give scenarios and then ask for your inputs on them. These are very open ended questions, there are no rights and wrongs, but they can judge your approach with your answers
