You submit a resume and then either just the person you work for, or that person and several coworkers will interview you to try and get a feel for your experience. They'll also try and ask you for your knowledge regarding specific systems they think you'll need to work with as well as ask you to describe times you've dealt with challenges that are relevant to the position you are seeking.
