I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Avis Europe
Interview
1st online interview questions, 2nd video interview, 3rd interview with management.
Not sure why anyone would want to work for them after finding out how ridiculously low their salary was. (only £20K for full-time job as an assistant manager and maybe a maximum bonus of £1-2K. Could get an entry level (school leaver) call centre job that pays more and has regular office hours. You should remember to wear a waterproof jacket instead of suit jacket to fit in at the final interview.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Avis Europe (Brindisi) in Apr 2019
Interview
I got a phone call to test my English skills, passed it and went on an in person interview with the hiring manager (AVIS airport manager in Brindisi, ITA) and her assistant.
I was 15 minutes early for the interview, they made me wait over one hour and a half.
Hiring manager was not interested at all in the process and rude, 90% of the interview was actually conducted by her assistant (no complaints about him).
I am 100% sure that she was working on other tasks (I have been able to look at her computer screen) as her assistant asked me about my previous experiences.
Multitasking is OK but during a job interview feels like you absolutely do not care at all about the candidate in front of you.
Checked her linkedin and I am sure that she never had experiences other than AVIS in Brindisi, this might explain why having had experiences in much bigger and busier companies across Europe was not regarded as something positive.
Provincial and rude, what else can I say?
Well.... very provincial and very rude.
