I applied online. I interviewed at Axalta (Huntsville, AL)
Interview
Pretty typical. Phone interview + on site with multiple levels of technical contributors and management. It’s questionable if they’re actually hiring. They’ve been reposting the job regularly since March and the log book was full of interviewees. They’re either looking for a unicorn or making it look like they’re hiring to pad their position to their new buyers.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Axalta (Philadelphia, PA) in Dec 2025
Interview
I was ghosted after 2 interviews with Axalta's sustainability team and never heard about what happened to this role or if it was even filled. Extremely disappointing and unprofessional.
In Nov 2025, I interviewed for 30 min in a first round and a 2nd round interview in December that lasted 1 hour. I was told I would hear back if I'm moving forward or not in January, and after multiple follow-up attempts, I never got a respond from HR or my interviewer. Getting ghosted by a company sucks and shows me they don't care about their people.
