I applied in-person. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Axios
Interview
The hiring process only increased my desire to work for Axios. The recruiters were extremely transparent when discussing next steps. My interview process took place for a little bit over a month and involved numerous phone calls, commencing with an in person meeting with 3 people. The communication throughout was superior to any place I’ve interviewed.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Axios (Arlington, VA) in May 2025
Interview
I had one phone screening interview. The recruiter was very personable and we got along very well. They didn't move forward with me, but at least they were timely and consistent with their communication.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Axios in Apr 2022
Interview
I had a positive and professional series of interviews with Axios HQ for an account manager position, ultimately making it to the final round. While the opportunity did not work out, I left the experience still a fan of Axios HQ. Unfortunately, it seems like some of the folks at Axios, either on the BD team or People team, decided to inform a former colleague of mine at my current employer that I was interviewing. They in turn decided to share this gossip with a few people at my current company. While nothing happened as a result, this kind of behavior is HIGHLY unethical and reflects poorly on their organization.
