I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Axios in Sept 2023
Interview
3 months, 6 interviews, a lengthy project that took 12 hours to complete..and they just reposted the job. Come on Axios, please stop telling people how busy you are, if you're going to waste the time of extremely qualified candidates. The interviews were easy enough and the people seemed really cool and nice. Why put eager potential candidates through this with no intention of hiring. Really terrible Axios.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Axios
Interview
Very organized and straightforward. All recruiters I spoke with were very knowledgable about the position, overall company info, and misc questions that I had. Every team I spoke with was very friendly and helpful!

Question 1
Describe scenarios where you have had to manage individuals in past roles.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Axios (Arlington, VA) in Dec 2019
Interview
Process lasted 6 weeks from application. Everyone I spoke to (recruiter, hiring manager, 5 people in person) was sharp, thoughtful, and kind. Not sure this is typical, but I felt like I had to do a lot of checking in in order to schedule each next step. The process took long enough that I accepted a different offer, which is fine as the interviews made clear that the role was in fact a merging of two roles that definitely should have been separate, among other yellow flags. It seems like a smart company overall, though perhaps a bit too 'matrixed' for my taste.
