      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Aya Healthcare (San Diego, CA) in Sept 2017

      Interview

I submitted my application and heard back in 2 days to complete a personality index (PI) assessment. After submitting the PI assessment I was contacted within 2 days to schedule a phone interview. The phone interview lasted 30-40 minutes and she invited me for an in-person interview at the end of our conversation. I went for the in-person interview which lasted roughly an hour. After the interview I called to follow up and they took about a week to give me a final answer. I appreciated how quickly the process took place. I did, however, feel that my in-person interview was abruptly ended. I was talking back and forth with the interviewer and she seemed very engaged even throughout my last answer. Immediately after I finished answering her last question she asked if I had any questions for her. She politely but quickly answered my questions and had someone help me to the door. I found this abrupt conclusion to the interview strange so I asked for feedback on my interview. I have not received feedback yet but I am interested to know what happened to cause such a sudden change in atmosphere. I would love to learn from it if I made a mistake so that I can grow and better myself.

Please forgive the tardiness of this response. Thanks so much for taking the time to share feedback about your interview — we're always looking for ways to improve the process. We definitely want candidates to feel they were able to get all of their questions answered, so we'll be sure to share your comments with the recruiting team. Unfortunately, we can't provide specific interview feedback to everyone because we interview such a high volume of candidates, but we appreciate the time you took to interview with us!

      I interviewed at Aya Healthcare

      Interview

I applied online and got some recruiter email asking to complete a predictive index assessment and the next morning I got hit with “we moved on to other candidates” ?? I never got a phone screening call at least? Made me think twice to working with them as they base their opinion on someone from a index? Before speaking with the applicant ?? Guess I dodged a bullet.

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Aya Healthcare in Apr 2021

      Interview

I was able to secure an interview and it was awkward. The lady asked a lot of redundant questions kind of fast-paced. I could have come more prepared to expound on my past employment but as a recent college grad, I did not have much. They pitch the recruiting assistant job like it's entry-level but they don't really take a chance on you.

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Aya Healthcare (San Diego, CA) in Jun 2018

      Interview

If I were to title my experience with Aya, it would be "A Bad Relationship". I initially heard about Aya through a recruiter at a job fair. I applied about a month later. After receiving a phone call from a representative asking me to fill out a personality test (simple, took less than 3 minutes), we set up another phone call. The first phone call was scheduled for 9 am, he called me around 9:15 am. The phone call was very in depth and ended up lasting about 45minutes. He then asked me if I was free to speak to someone else that same day in the afternoon. The person called me three hours early and we talked for about 30 minutes. The phone calls were hoenstly the exact same conversation, and basically just giving more detail to my resume. A few more phone calls were exchanged with the inital recruiter. Then I went in for an in-person interview. I arrived and was asked to wait because the girl conducitng my interview was out to lunch. About 10 minutes after our interview was supposed to start, she arrived, and I was led into a private meeting room. I had been told by the recruiter on the phone that she would intentionally not show very much emotion. This interview was very basic, and I had no complaints about the questions. I was then told that the next step was to go in for another in-person interview. I was given a start date, and was in constant communication with the recruiter, so I was led to believe I was doing well in the process. I recieved a voicemail telling me he would call me "first thing in the morning" to discuss "what our next steps are moving forward". This is where my experience with Aya really takes a turn. The next morning, no call. Waited until Monday at noon and still did not hear back so I called Aya. The person told me they would need to call me the next day. The next day, I got a text message saying he would call me "tomorrow". At this point, I am obviously aware that they are not going to offer me a position, I just didn't understand why I got a voicemail asking me to "move forward" if we weren't moving forward. Finally, two days later I got a phone call telling me I did not recieve the postion. The whole process took about 3 weeks and honestly felt like a huge waste of my time.
