      Service Technician Interview

      17 Apr 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Fayetteville, NC
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at BFC Solutions (Fayetteville, NC)

      Interview

First of all, it was quite unprofessional of them having me meet up at a restaurant trying to find them when I got there. I've only done that twice in my life so far, and both I had no offers. Even though I seemed eager to get on board with the company I was told that since I'm HVAC certified they kind of felt discouraged about hiring HVAC techs cause right after they hire them they tend to leave to find another HVAC job. They rather base their past experience with other techs on your final hiring decisions. I thought you would rather have someone knowledgeable about coming up on the rooftop and knowing right away with what they are dealing with instead of training an amateur. I was well qualified for the job but I guess they rathered look somewhere else.
