Round 1 was with a HR representative who was absolutely lovely and seemed to understand the vast experience that I have and how much o could offer to this role as it is actually more junior than what I am used to. The second round was with the CEO who asked me questions pertaining to the Marketing Manager role and not so much the Coordinator role. That confused me a little and threw me off. I was asked about events and I have done everything from lunch and learn’s to the Grey Cup so when told I did not have the skills for this role I was a little astonished but ultimately with owner operated businesses, it’s totally up to the owner as to who he wants in his company and I accept that.
