BKF Engineers interview questions

Terrible experience with BKF, I got interviewed by 2 members of their leadership team in mid December , everything was straight forward, I was told that i will need to do a 90 minute civil3d test in their office, which i did in early January then they reached out a week after that for another interview with a senior engineer which also went well, 10 days later i received and email saying that they would like to proceed with the next step and asked for references. since i've only worked for one employer i had to provide current coworkers as references and they also asked for a supervisor as a reference, they contacted my current supervisor and 2 of my coworkers. 16 days later, their recruiter reached out to tell me that everything went well but the need in that office is no longer there, and if it's ok to check in other offices. (mind you the same position is still open month after and getting reposted every week) you could very well loose your current job trying to apply to BKF, I learned my lesson to never provide references unless it's part of a job offer with clear reasons for rejection, and you should too.
