I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at BMO Financial Group (Montreal, QC) in Aug 2022
Interview
STEP 1 - 20min call with a talent acquisition specialist. They asked that you introduce yourself then give brief details about the position, and describe what it's like to work at BMO. For a bilingual position, they will verify that you speak both languages fluently. In the end, if it's a good fit, they let you know you will have a 2nd interview.
STEP 2 - 2nd interview of approx 40min to an hour with department leader. Series of questions from both sides. Language verification.
They made an offer relatively quickly after interviews were done (1 week max) and they were super transparent about their process and timelines and they respected their timelines. They answer emails super quickly when you have questions.
Overall, it was a great experience.
They proceed to a thorough background check after you accept the offer.

Interview
It was a very smooth and efficient interview process! They first start with an email saying you will go through a phone interview. The phone interview will be scheduled for a particular date and it will be about 20 minutes long! After which there will be an online assessment that you'll have to complete on your own time within a given time frame. If you get selected after the phone interview and pass the assessment, you will be called in for a face-to-face interview which can be anywhere from 30mins to an hour.
